A Quiet Place is a horror-thriller film directed by John Krasinski as his directorial debut film. This film also stars him and his real-life wife Emily Blunt. This film sets in a post-apocalyptic Earth where its currently invaded by mysterious and vicious aliens/monsters who bears the similar trait of a bat in which it's blind but has the strongest sense of hearing that even the slightest sound, it can hear it and straight-up kill you. First off, this film has one of the most interesting, unique & original plots that I have ever seen. It shares a similar trait of another excellent original horror movie like Get Out and watching this film was indeed a unique experience. Dialogues and sounds are two of the important fundamentals of a film -- the lack of these in the movie though just maximized the intensity and thrills of it. The entire cinema was so quiet and it felt like I was one of the characters trying not to make any noises and sounds. Truly, this film really stressed me out and my anxiety level is through the roof. You could really feel the pain and emotion that those characters go through. It was just so stressful watching them hold everything and just couldn't let it out. This film also sends a powerful message of a parent's love. It will remind us that parents will do everything for their children and this film portrayed it so perfectly.

OVERALL
A QUITE PLACE is amazing in terms of its technical achievements in areas such as editing, the scores, the visuals, and CGI. This film is a cinematic gold that is gut-wrenching, suspenseful, emotional, and thrilling that every scene of it is just a pure masterpiece. I will say that this film is one of the best movies that came out in 2018 and is one of the best horror-thriller movies of all time.
