PADDINGTON 2 (O-RVZ MOVIE REVIEW)

It's a live-action animated comedy adventure film and is a sequel to the universally acclaimed Paddington (2014). It star Ben Wishaw returning as the voice of Paddington, a bear who's living in London adapted by the Brown Family with all the previous casts from the first series returning and Hugh Grant joining in the mix. The first Paddington movie was an exceptionally well-made film. How could they regain that success by having a sequel of it and still retain its high quality? Well, they certainly did it. Paddington 2 is without a doubt a very beautiful film. It's a sequel that is so rare to be even equally great than its predecessor. This movie is full of laughs, so light-hearted, so charming and has a very simple yet very touching plotline. Sometimes, when a movie has an animated character in a live-adaption, it's really weird to see it alongside with real-life human characters but as you see I didn't even felt any weirdness with its visual effects. It's a top-notch quality and its environment and color palette is just visually stunning. The casts were so damn great as well and huge props to Hugh Grant playing the villain. He plays an over-the-top villain but his character really works in this type of movie and his performance is one of the best of this entire series. The soundtrack of this movie is even great and even though that this was intended for kids, it's also a smart movie giving attention to other details that had been presented from the film. I didn't feel any slow pacing from it and the story just keeps taking its own course slowly progressing it every minute. It's a simple storyline yet it's a story that is beautiful and charming.

OVERALL

PADDINGTON 2 exceeds its expectation of retaining the same high quality that I saw from the first Paddington movie. I may even like this movie more so than the first one. I certainly enjoyed watching this film. I felt so many emotions coming from it and although that this movie might be for kids, I would truly recommend it for you to watch it along with its first movie.
