Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a drama film about a mother named Mildred who sets-up 3 billboards right across her town after her daughter got raped and killed without the culprit of the malicious act not getting arrested. It’s a heavy drama film that is mixed with some humor and it works perfectly because of its amazing casts and its screenplay. You're gonna like this film if you’re into independent films. Frances McDormand who plays the foul-mouth mother Mildred was the star of this film anchoring it with her strong performance paired with a very good supporting casts such as Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell. I like the tone of the film. It’s a heavy-drama film combined with some comedic element to it and they were able to combined these two genre. The movie also tackles with a very sensitive subject matter and the film successfully conveyed this topic with the help of the good direction from the film, strong performances from the casts and the overall tone of the movie.
