Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a sequel film to Jurassic World and the 5th entry of the Jurassic Park franchise. It's directed by J.A Bayona with Chris Pratt playing as Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire. This sequel continues the story from Jurassic World in which the dinosaurs are facing great danger when a supposed to be dormant volcano from Isla Nublar went active again. It's up to Owen and Claire to save those dinosaurs from Isla Nublar. The story is basically that but I can't really tell you what exactly happened from the film. It's full of surprises and revelations and I was really surprised by the direction of this film. They've been teasing this from the previous Jurassic Park film and now, they are truly heading there. The dinosaurs in this film were really magnificent to look at. It's full of intense and shocking sequences and it's a bit more emotional than the first Jurassic World. We get to see Blue again from this film which is not a surprise since she was shown from the trailers. Seeing her really makes me happy cause really who wouldn't be. If the T-Rex was the face of the old Jurassic Park series, Blue, on the other hand, is the face of the new Jurassic World series. We also get to see new a new dinosaur which to my surprise was the best part of this film. Let's also talk about the CGI on this film. Much like the previous film, the CGI was exceptionally well done on the dinosaurs. The close-up encounters between the dinosaurs and the main characters looked so really real. They really made a good choice of combining CGI and Practical Effects which really helped in achieving these realistic looking dinosaurs. The human characters were a bit disappointment. The return of one of the original characters was a bit short and was just really a cameo. The new villain was just a generic one-dimensional character who was just plain boring and uncharismatic. The relationship between Owen and Claire never really progressed. Although, it introduced some of the new interesting characters as well who served mainly as the comic relief of the film. This film pretty much a big build-up of the next. I see a big potential when it comes to the storyline in the Jurassic Park franchise. They have come a long way from recreating dinosaurs from mosquito blood trapped in an amber to a splicing DNAs of the dinosaurs and even combining to create a more menacing dinosaur. Just the idea of it excites me so much.

OVERALL
JURASSIC WORLD: FALLEN KINGDOM has its own goods and bad. The human characters were a bit of a disappointment. The dinosaurs were the steal of this movie (obviously). The CGIs were phenomenal and Chris Pratt was really damn charismatic. I really liked the path that they are going with the story. It's exciting and you could never really tell what story they are going to have. Like I said, there are too many things happened in this film and I couldn't tell every single thing just so you could experience it with yourself.
