The final chapter of the Maze Runner franchise. The movie starts of rescuing Minho right after he was taken by WCKED from the last movie. The issue I had with Scorching Trials was that it suffers from all the build-up from the first movie leading up to Death Cure. The 3rd and last entry of this series was without a doubt much a better film than the second. It's a much action-packed and a somewhat dramatic film that really closes the entire series. It's not a perfect film as it still suffers some of the problems that the second movie has. The build-up and pacing of the film that leads to its climax was still a problem. Since this was the final film of this series, expect that there will be a beloved character that dies. If you've read the book then you knew about it but for those who have not then it is indeed an emotional punch. This is still an enjoyable film and would be hard to pull-off without the charismastic performance of Dylan playing as Thomas and his equally charismatic co-star Thomas playing Newt. I've read the first 2 books of this series (yes, I read books sometimes) and I can say that it's really hard to interpret the whole story from a book to films due to limited time and resources. If you really want to get the best experience of the Maze Runner series, just read the book. It's a much better route than watching the trilogy.

OVERALL

MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE is still an enjoyable film that contains lots of actions, emotional scenes, thrills and some surprises. A much better film than the second movie and although not a perfect film but still a good film to end the entire series of MAZE RUNNER.
