BAD SAMARITAN (O-RVZ MOVIE REVIEW)

Bad Samaritan is a thriller movie starring David Tennant and Robert Sheehan and directed by Dean Devlin. The story follows of a man named Sean Falco (Robert Sheehan) working as a valet parker and at the same time a burglar who uses the cars of his customers as a means of transportation to go to their houses and steal some stuff. When one of his victims is a rich man named Cale Erendreich (David Tennant), he soon discovers that he is a kidnapper, torturer, and a killer.

The plot of this movie kinda reminded me of "Don't Breathe" which basically shares a bad predicament for the burglars. While both of these movies share the same plot, this movie was in nowhere near how good was Don't Breathe. The set-up of this movie was pretty good. We get to introduced with these characters of burglars. One of them was actually pretty decent and when he discovered these fucked-up shit, he tried to do something and correct it. Then we get to see David Tennant's character as a psycho rich man who has these tools of torturing like knives, chainsaw, blades and a torturing room but he never uses them anyway. That was illogical to be honest and why show them to us and never really utilized it, it just doesn't make sense. I did like the performance of David Tennant playing the psycho character. He just has this knack performing wild and crazy villains and he is just good at it but his character was really fucking dumb. It's a bunch of running around between these two characters and there was no tension, there was no suspense and it's a long ass movie that just feels like it's never going to end. There was this part from the end scene as well that was so comical and I just find it out of place from this kind of a movie.

OVERALL

BAD SAMARITAN is a good movie to forget. It was illogical, lacking of suspense and just flat-out bad. There's no sense in terms of the story and you really will question some decisions made out on this movie. You're better off watching Don't Breathe than this one.
