It's a sci-fi-comedy-drama film with a concept of shrinking human down to 5 inches small. It starred Matt Damon as Paul Safranek with his wife, Audrey, played by Kristen Wig - A couple who's about to take the life-changing downsizing process hoping to get a better life. The concept of the film is much the same as "Honey, I Shrunk The Kids" movie but in this movie instead of accidentally shrinking the kids, it's about people who are willing to take the process of downsizing as a commercial hoping to gain a new life. The premise is intriguing it talks about the story of Paul and his new life as he ventured as a downsized human. The story progressed really slow. It was long and it was somewhat boring that I never really understood what path the story is headed to. Its entire premise clearly had a potential of telling a much bigger story however the film had a different story to tell and it’s a story I never really appreciated nor liked.

OVERALL
DOWNSIZING is a very long movie that doesn't have a very compelling storyline. Its direction of the story and what it’s trying to tell wasn’t really up to my taste and it ended up unappreciated of the film. There were good things about the film with a couple of good performances from the casts and some beautiful cinematography but other than that, it's nothing much of a special movie.
