Night School is a comedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee which stars Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Megalyn Echikunwoke, and others. The plot follows of a high school dropout Teddy Walker (Kevin Hart) with some learning disabilities who got enrolled in a night class to pass on the GED (General Educational Development) test in order to apply to some financial job position.
I mostly enjoyed Kevin Hart standups, not so much with his library of films. The dude is funny but some of his films are really just dumb, unfunny, with plot having no real sense of direction. His latest film "Night School" may not be for everyone. Nowadays, most of the comedy films have already suffered with their storyline just so they could include jokes that are not even funny and offensive. Kevin Hart is doing his usual stuff from his other films. Being loud and tryna be funny which most of the times worked for me, but there are moments that were just cringeworthy. I do like the message of the film but it was just overshadowed with a bland plot, one-dimensional characters and forced jokes.

OVERALL
NIGHT SCHOOL is not a recommendable film to watch. It's a very long film that is a complete waste of time. The message about never giving up is sweet but it really suffers from its bland plot that sometimes feels too long because of its running time, one-sided characters and forced unfunny jokes.
