Christopher Robin is a fantasy-comedy movie produced by Walt Disney and is one of the classic animations made by Walt Disney who gets the treatment for a live-action adaptation (much like Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast and the upcoming Alladin and Lion King). This time, instead of rehashing and retelling the story we get to see an interesting point of the franchise in which the titular character Christopher Robin goes into adulthood and has lost his imagination and has lost his relationship between his old buddy Winnie The Pooh and the gang. The movie casts Ewan McGregor playing Christopher Robin, Hayley Atwell (Captain America/Sharon Carter series), and the original voice actor Jim Cummings bringing back to life his iconic voice of Pooh and Tigger, etc.
Much like every Disney Class Animations-turned to Live Adaptations, there is this nostalgic feeling that keeps going back to you when you watch any of these movies. I have been a fan of Disney and I have been loving all of their animated movies ever since I was a child and they played a very big part of my childhood days. Some people might not like the idea of adapting it in a different media than animation but I just like the idea of seeing again those lovable characters in the real-life version. This movie is a very friendly, family type of movie and it was just charming and beautiful to see. The cinematography of the Hundred Acre Wood (the fictional land in which Winnie the Pooh and the gang live) is beautiful and it was pleasant in the eyes especially when they hover the entire forest and we get to see these amazing colors and shots of it. The CGIs of Pooh and the gang was exceptionally well done. The CGI of them was more of like a stuffed toy version of themselves rather using a real-life animal and just CGI it. It just made it more fluffy and cuter much like the animated versions. What I liked about this movie is it gives another layer in terms of the storyline of the franchise. It's not all about this fantastic adventure that these gang and Christopher Robin would normally do in the forest but we get to see some real-life aspect of what if Christopher Robin would eventually grow up as what normal kids do and eventually forgets its childhood friends. This kind of thing is what kids would normally experience and even I myself has experienced this before. I had some friends that I have made when I was a child and although they might not be Winnie the Pooh or some stuffed toys that can talk and walk, they were really part of me growing up but then life happens and you eventually moves on. That kind of aspect really hits me and I really liked how they did a good job of portraying it to Christopher Robin. The story added some realism to it and although we still get to see some fantastical aspect of it, it was indeed a good mix. Not only that, but we also get to see the struggles of our titular character when he reaches this adulthood stage. Problems that we usually see about families and work and again, I might not be able to fully relate to it as I don't have a family on my own but it was indeed an eye-opener.

OVERALL
CHRISTOPHER ROBIN is a good movie to be enjoyed with your kids and families. It has some funny moments between Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin and the story does have some important message about friends and families. Eeyore was by far my favorite because of his pessimistic and gloomy attitude, he just doesn't care about the bad things that will happen to him and I just wished that I was like that. I did enjoy the whole movie. Although I admit that I kinda snoozed off a little bit from a certain moment of the movie but overall, it was still a fantastical and funny adventure.
