Incredibles 2 is the latest Disney-Pixar Animated Film which is the direct sequel to 2004's The Incredibles. A superhero animated film featuring a family of superhero with Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, Jack-Jack, and Frozone. It took 14 years for them to release the sequel but the plot of this sequel took place right after they defeat Syndrome. I was in high school when I saw the original film and at that time, this was one of the best superhero films that I've watched even for an animated one. The things that made the original film so incredible (no pun intended) was the dynamic relationship between the super family and a very well-developed villain. The sequel left with a cliffhanger of a new villain "The Underminer" so I guess a sequel was bound to come. So, when Disney announced that they were planning to make a sequel of it, I was happy and at the same time worried about the film. I never want the original film to be associated with bad reviews when this sequel came out but fortunately, the sequel "Incredibles 2" really lived-up to its name. This sequel is funnier, with more humor than the original and the plot is even wider in scope. Jack-Jack, the youngest member of the super family stole the show. He has more screentime this time and he is so-so super cute. I would definitely want a Jack-Jack solo film because that character is so freaking interesting. This sequel has one of the amazing animations when it comes to the powers of the supers and the tone of this film is even a bit darker than the first. They also introduced a new villain on this sequel. I thought it was going to be the Underminer as he was shown as the cliffhanger of the original film but it wasn't. I did find the new villain to be a lackluster and I didn't really feel a big impact much like Syndrome did. Syndrome was easily one of the best supervillains out there so it was a bit of a downfall for me. As a whole movie though, it still has the Disney-Pixar touch which I've been loving from previous Disney-Pixar films.

OVERALL
INCREDIBLES 2 is a fun, great, amazing and incredible (again, no pun intended) film. I've been waiting for this sequel for too long and fortunately, it still delivered a very good quality of entertainment. I will say that this "Incredibles 2" is worth the wait and definitely deserves a two-thumbs up and a big YES.
