THE DISASTER ARTIST (O-RVZ MOVIE REVIEW)

It’s a biographical comedy-drama film about the making of an infamous cult-classic movie “The Room” which is being described as “The Worst Movie Ever Made”. It was created, directed, produced and even led the movie by one person, Tommy Wiseau. This movie tells the story of how that movie was being made and how Tommy’s “The ROOM” quickly became a cult-classic film. I applaud this movie for being so comedic and yet also tells a compelling story. This film is without a doubt was one of the good films of 2017 for mainly of these reasons. One, it’s starred James Franco as Tommy Wiseau who gave such a wonderful performance. His performance in this film was in a whole new level that Tommy’s mannerism, quirkiness, and other-worldly weirdness were so spot-on. It was hard to recognize at first that it was James Franco playing the character. Second, its story is its own and didn't feel like it was spoofing the creation of the “The Room”. It didn't just show the disaster and chaos of making that film but it was telling a substantial story packed with some humor and drama on it.

OVERALL

THE DISASTER ARTIST is a very good film that I laughed so hard from some of its scenes. They even recreated the whole movie of “The Room” which was the best part of the film. It's funny, intriguing and you get to know more about the people who made the "worst film" in the history of cinema.
